Varuna joined the real estate industry in 1983, in New York City, NY, under the tutelage of some of the finest real estate professionals at a company called Gilbert , Charles, Beylen, Inc,  excelling in product development, branding, marketing and sales of brand new construction Coops and Condos in Manhattan.

Varuna relocated to Kew Gardens, Queens, to continue in the same vein as Queen’s multiple dwellings began to convert to coop and condo. He served as a senior consultant, specializing in residential, commercial retail sales and leasing, as well as , consultant to investors , operators and developers. He founded Crossings Realty in 1987, to specialize in product development and branding of new residential , commercial , mixed use construction as well as, marketing of Coop and Condo offerings.

Varuna takes pride in delivering results and building long term relationships with clients and customers. He enjoys 28 year relationships with clients and customers who have become clients. It is always a pleasure to work with 3 generations of a family. It says a lot.
